Frost smiled at the frustrated woman, totally unprepared for what was about to happen. Tak jumped up and flipped the checker board over exclaiming quite loudly," I QUIT!!"

As the black and red pieces fell to the floor all Frost could think was, "What the HELL?!!"

"This is NOT fair!!" Tak stated, clearly unhappy that she couldn’t get the hang of the game. "This STUPID board game is from YOUR country!! You're more familiar with this game than me."

The blonde stared at her slightly dumbfounded. "But this is checkers…This is one of the easiest board games from my country. It's so easy even four year olds can pla…"

"I KNOW!!"

"Be quiet you two!" Matilda demanded, interrupting the younger women.

"Councilor Matilda!!..." Both of them trailed off seeing someone standing behind her. "…and?"

"HI<3" Dedrick smiled at them, unaffected by Matilda's sour mood.

There was a moment of silence before both girls started to conjure an image of the four of them standing next to each other. The quickly came to the same conclusion about Matilda. "She's so…so…SHORT!!"

As if reading their thoughts Matilda grew angry. "You…IDIOT!!"

"She's mad!! Does she have a complex?" Tak thought, again mirroring Frost's without realizing.

"She's mad! Height complex?"

"Can't you see I'm trying to scold them for being so disruptive? And you coming in here all friendly is not helping my case!" Matilda explained, ignoring the real reason she was angry.

"Sorry Matilda." Dedrick looked on the verge of tears as he bent down to her level.

Matilda only sighed, feeling guilty. "It's like kicking a puppy…" She thought to herself. "Well no matter. You two keep it down. It's the middle of the night after all."

"Yes ma'am!" Both girls said instantly, glad to be getting of so easily. "Thank goodness for Dedrick…" They both thought watching them walk away. As soon as they were gone Frost picked up the checker pieces and began to rearrange the board.

"Shall we try again?" She asked pouting slightly to get her way.

Tak instantly caved at the sight. "Fine…"
